Jasper has been in the hair care industry 18 years after finishing Cosmetology school at Kenneth Shuler here in Columbia. He started his career with a year long apprenticeship at an Aveda Lifestyle salon. Jasper spent four years with Aveda before joining a new salon team and becoming a Deva Curl certified curl specialist. Working with naturally curly hair and creating beautiful, natural looking color has become a focus of his work and education. Jasper opened J Brown Studio with the full support of his husband Joshua Volf in 2017. They now work together and love being a part of the Earlwood community.
